Hawthorne,NV

We arrived at Whiskey Flats RV Park around 1:30pm after about a 5 hour drive from Pahrump. Nice Park that we have stayed at in the past.

Winds picked up a couple of hours after we setup and the forecast was spot on. Winds increased overnight and this morning they are 25-35 with gusts to 45-60 so....we are staying put for another night and will head to Reno Wednesday morning when the winds are suppose to subside to 10-15.

More after we get home.

Pahrump, NV

Arrived yesterday about 1:30pm at Wine Ridge RV Resort after a 4.5 hour trip. Place is a gem out in the high desert about 1 hour NW of Las Vegas with all the ammenities including their own winery and a 5 star restaurant..The Symphony.

"A 55-minute scenic drive from the world famous Las Vegas Strip and just 45 minutes to Furnace Creek at the heart of Death Valley, Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages is nestled on a ridge below the majestic Spring Mountain range and Charleston Peak. Our Resort includes the pristine vineyards and winery of the award winning Pahrump Valley Winery and 5-star Symphony's Restaurant. We are quiet, peaceful, and really cute, if not downright beautiful."

Our route back home to Reno has changed as it makes more sense to go straight North on 95 thru Hawthorne (will be an overnight) joining I-80 near Fernley NV then home instead of going SW to Bakersfield then up to Lodi then crossing the Sierra's for the 2nd time to get to Reno.

Will leave here for home Monday morning.

Parker, AZ

After about a 4 hour drive yesterday from Casa Grande we arrived at Buckskin Mt State Park 11 miles outside of Parker AZ. and not far from Lake Havasu.

Gorgeous place with the Colorado River bordering the Park. We are in a site that has lots of shade which is really appreciated with the hot temps.

Monday we leave for Pahrump, NV.
