A Little Bit Of Country...

We are continuing doing the 'local' things in the area after the Packers got blown out in Atlanta last Sunday. As the saying goes...'next year'. We still made the 'bird' though and it was delicious.

From the Tumbleweed Inn Facebook page;

Wednesday night at the Tumbleweed... Dance to the music of C.C.Collier from 5-9pm and have some of our Tacos or Taco Salad for dinner also from 5-9pm.... New on Tap enjoy a "Three Amigos Tequila" Margarita specially made and ready to serve as you like... Excellent addition to the Tumbleweed beverage line-up!!

Ginny & Greg would love the Tumbleweed!! Get your rig ready and c'mon down guys!!

Not our 1st rodeo here by a long shot. Tacos are great and all you can eat. Another great night with C.C. He's got El Paso by Marty Robbins (my request last year and this year C.C. delivered) down where it's the best we've heard in a long time. Thanks C.C and Pat. CYA in 2 weeks after you get back from Nevada.

CC Collier, musician and recording artist has been entertaining and delighting crowds both young and young at heart with his extraordinary acoustic/lead guitar, rhythmic percussion, and vocal talent for thirty years.

Below are a couple of videos by C.C. to enjoy

Think we like this place? Have our Valentine's Sweetheart  Dinner and Dance reservation made for a table for 8. Now I got to get that line dancing learned...Betty has had it down for quite awhile.

More coming soon....trust everyone is fine.

Guess what we are doing tomorrow?

Pretty much the same as last Sunday since we sent the 'Boys' down the road.

Next Up...

So we again have refreshments at the ready...

with only the main course to be determined.

Really thinking something like this would be appropriate since we are
playing a 'bird' team in the Falcons.

In any case we will be cheering the Pack on from Southern Arizona
for one more win that will put us in the Super Bowl.

Chilli simmering in the crockpot

and now it's time to get the refreshments going!!

Hope you are having a great day!!!

Bunky with Kim David in the Clubhouse

What a great time at our potluck supper tonite. Great turnout with delicious food from salad to entrees to desert.

To top it off one of our favorite musicians in the area performed. He is also an RVer and has stayed here at the Silverado, formerly Desert Valley RV Resort, for many years.

Bunky Christiansen performs at a few local locations including The Tumbleweed in Eloy, The Thirsty Donkey in Casa Grande and The Gallopin' Goose Saloon and Grill in Coolidge. Bunky is a one-man music show. He plays piano, guitar, banjo and fiddle and sings. He has a a new CD that contains 13 songs, including eight he wrote. He recorded a cover of the legendary Merle Haggard’s "Silver Wings." Haggard’s eldest son Martysang on this recording.

The last couple of times Bunky has been joined by Kim playing one of the best acoustic guitars we've heard. Not sure how long or if they'll continue playing together as regulars.

We'll be at The Tumbleweed this Friday where Bunky plays for every Friday night Fish Fry.

Up and About Again...

Been awhile for an update so here we go;

After catching the lingering cold/flu bug (has been going around the Park) just before New Years Day we have started getting out doing things again....like....

No we were not line dancing but went to the Thirsty Donkey with about 24 folks from our RV Park for food, drink and Bunky one of of our favorite C&W entertainers in the area.

Did make this on New Years Day so we would have some kind of nourishment.

Baxter even thought it was good!

Been out to dinner a couple of other times, Betty back in the pool and I start Pickleball again Monday...so we are back!

Pizza last night in the Clubhouse was great...just like last year.

Watching football this weekend and cheering for the Packers to get a win today and advance in the playoffs. Bloody Mary's are helping us to cheer them on. 😁
Did I mention that the temp in Green Bay is 12? Probably forgot to mention also that the temp here in Eloy, AZ is 74. Oh how the memory fails as we get older. 😇

Will get more updates now that we will have something to say. 😎

Trust everyone had a great Holiday and things are well.
