We are at our winter home in S. Arizona
We left the Sedona, Camp Verdi, Jerome area, with Mary & Mike in their rig, about 9am on Friday 11/1 arriving at the Silverado RV Resort, our winter home until next April, around noon. Good to see the friends we have come to know over the past several years again.
Happy hours started right away on Friday with Patti & Tom from across the street bringing snacks. Last night chef Mike made smash burgers on our Blackstone.
Yesterday we took Duffy to our grooming place, Desert Pet Oasis, which has do it yourself washing tubs for easy quick cleanups. Will setup our next grooming with them soon for around the 1st of December.
Our site/rig is pretty much setup and ready the winter. Right now, and for the foreseable future, it's shorts, t's and flip flops as we are in the 80's during the day an 50's at night. Furnace set as 63 never came on last night.
We'll have more on our Facebook pages, links in right menu, during our stay.
Safe travels to those on the move.....

Short Update from Arizona
We left Reno on schedule last Wednesday and did an overnight in Tonopah, NV.
Thursday we could not get into the Elks Lodge RV Park in Boulder City, NV. but did manage to get the last site for one night at Canyon Trail RV Resort. Great park not only for a short stay but also as a 'destination' place for long term. Recommend highly!!
Friday we arrived at Verdi River RV Resort in Camp Verdi, AZ. (so much to see in the area... Sedona, Cottonwood, Jerome and the list goes on) and met up with Mary & Mike so now it's 'party on' until we leave on November 1st for our winter home at the Silverado RV Resort...then the fun really starts until April 2020!!
We'll try and get another update here before heading out on the short leg of this trip....2:15 or about a 150 miles. You may check our FaceBook pages (links in righ menu) now for more current info.
Safe travels to everyone enroute to your destnation.

On schedule for Arizona...
Picked up the rig from storage today and have it home.
Did a few things but the real loading will start tomorrow (Monday) after a visit to Big O's where we get the tire pressures up to where I want them for heavy load travel and also lube the axles.
Top off the fuel tanks and propane and the plan is to leave around 9am Wednesday for a little over 4 hour 240 mile run to Tonopah RV Park, NV. Stayed there last year on the way down and a nice spot to overnight.
The rest of the trip itinerary is posted in a previous update and we will try and update on the way.
Safe travels everyone no matter where your destination is.
Oh...and our navigator is ready to go!

Reno Update
Just a small shout out from our home base.
Having an enjoyable stay doing some local things with friends like going to our Elks Lodge, out for good eats on occasion, up to Virginia City for fun times and playing some cards and griddling/grilling out in the backyard just to mention a few.
Betty and the girls took a trip over the hill to Sacramento this week shopping at Ikea with a stop at Camping World.
We are more active when we are not traveling on both of our FaceBook pages, than here on our blog, with links to in the right menu.
Here's to an enjoyable summer and if you are on the road safe travels. Hope to see you all soon.

Back home in Reno
After a very nice 2 week stay in Pahrump with Mike & Mary (1st week Toni & Dick were with us) we departed on schedule Monday the 22nd for Hawthorne, NV.
About a 5 hour run, with only 1 stop, we arrived around 2:30pm at Whiskey Flats RV Park to clear blue and temps in the lower 70's.
Tuesday the 23rd we headed out about 10am and were in front of our house at 1pm with temps in the 70's and forcasted to be in the 80's starting today. Now it's unloading and cleaning up before taking the rig to storage on Thursday.
We look forward to seeing all our friends again at the Silverado and the Eloy/Casa Grande area in the Fall/Winter 2019-2020.
Next trip will probably be to Virginia City with Lucienne and Don who now are RV owners with their new travel trailer.
Safe travels all,

Back on Schedule
On the road again!!
Tony and Dick got one of their rear stabalizers replaced and we departed (together) our winter home at the Silverado RV Resort on Sunday April 7.
We are traveling up to Pahrump NV to meet up with Mike & Mary and planning a nice visit for who knows how long.
Our one and only overnight was in Lake Havasu City, AZ (Havasu Falls RV Resort) about a 4.5 hour run. We arrived about 3pm and got setup in time for Happy Hour...of course!
Monday we left for Pahrump, NV around 9am for the 3.5 hour run to Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages. We wanted to get here no later than Monday as there were high wind warnings starting Monday night and lasting for 3 days....the forecast was spot on!!
Nice now with temps in the 70's and 80's. Hard at first to again get use to no noise from trains and highways.
Good to see M & M again. Have had some delicious meals like Tai food, prime rib and more. Tonight we are staying home and grilling out after Happy Hour.
Dick and Tony will be heading home to WI sometime this coming week depending on weather...some more wind with showers forecasted early week. We've signed up for another week and plan to leave the 22nd with an overnight in Hawthorne, NV then arriving home in Reno on the 23rd.
Safe travels and have a great summer.

Goodness it sure does!
Plan is to head back home to Reno starting April 1 with an overnight stop in Lake Havasu City on our way to Pahrump for a week or so...weather ya know!!
Since we have again stayed in one spot this winter there wasn't a lot of activity here on our blog.
