We departed our home base in Reno last Friday and drove over the Sierra's on I-80 arriving in Patterson, CA for our first overnight on the way down to San Diego. A close friend, Katy, was able to meet us in Patterson and we had a great visit.
Saturday we drove to Bakersfield for our last overnight and Sunday finished our first leg of this Journey Sunday arriving at Mission Bay RV Resort around 2pm. Did get to enjoy one of our favorites...The Fish Market where we had our usual including oysters on the half shell and Duckett's Bucket.
Did I mention, sorry if i didn't, it is sunny and mid to high 70's today...and all week.
Friday we leave for Yuma, AZ and we will update from the Caravan Oasis RV Resort.
