Gold Canyon, AZ

Oh....forgot to mention we are in short sleeves and shorts...temp outside 84 with sunny skies and light winds.

Been awhile since we've updated so here we go.

Left Salome, AZ and the Black Rock RV Village on Jan. 4th. Great stay for Xmas and New Years albeit maybe a little to long of stay.

Arrived in Gold Canyon, AZ East of Phoenix and Apache Junction about 3PM on the same day after stopping at World Wide RV in Mesa for a little service...everything fine. 

We are at the Arizonian RV Resort but knowing they do not have cable TV bit the bullet and now have Dish Network Satellite service using a portable dish called the Tailgater which automatically locks on to the satellites which really is easy and a time saver. Great HD picture but have to figure out how to get the bedroom TV working with it.

We've been taking day trips enjoying the Superstition Mountains and the beautiful desert scenery. Lots of stars at night and the coyotes howling close by at night let you know that you are not downtown camping.
